An exploration of fields-driven soft body simulations with Cinema 4D and After Effects

Role + Process:

3D modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering, and video editing.
All geometry and animation was created with Cinema 4D. Lighting was handled with Octane Render. Texturing was completed with Octane Render's native material system. Color correction, compositing, and video editing were handled with After Effects.

Backing audio for the animation is a clip of Parsec by Stereolab

The various sex toys were created through a combination of poly and volume modeling with Cinema 4D
The high poly meshes were then decimated with Quad Remesher so that they could be used as objects within the soft body simulation(s)
The two models here had their topology altered with MoGraph effectors, each of which had their parameters driven by fields
To add additional compositional interest to the rendered image sequences, I layered and composited various shots together within After Effects
